Nidbild begann als Solo-Thrash-Metal-Projekt von Elliott Berlin. Sie kennen Elliott vielleicht von Combichrist und Telemark. Als die Lockdowns im Jahr 2020 eintrafen, beschloss Nidbild, seine Reihen zu vergrößern und Mitglieder aus etablierten Bands aus ganz Europa und Australien zu rekrutieren. Jetzt steht Elliott als Frontmann und Gitarrist von Nidbild im Mittelpunkt. Danika Ruohonen, bekannt für ihre Arbeit in der australischen Death-Metal-Szene mit In Death and Fang, übernimmt den Bass. Yannik Fleming, eine rhythmische Kraft aus Hanzel und Gretyl (USA) und Dawn of Ashes (USA), ist der Mann hinter dem Schlagzeug. Nidbild lässt sich von den Heavy-Bereichen des Göteborger Death- und Thrash-Metal inspirieren. Wenn Sie In Flames, Dark Tranquility, At the Gates, Insomnium, Be’Lakor, Amorphis, Hypocrisy und Winter Sun mögen, sind Sie hier genau richtig. Aber hier ist der Clou: Die unterschiedlichen musikalischen Hintergründe der Bandmitglieder vereinen auch Aromen von Rock, Industrial, skandinavischem Metal und der düsteren Dreifaltigkeit von Black, Thrash und Death Metal. Die Metal-Saga begann im Juni 2020 mit Nidbilds Cover von Sepulturas „Refuse Resist“. Das große Finale kam im Februar 2021 mit der Veröffentlichung ihres ersten Albums in voller Länge, „I Ondska vi Består“. Kein Schnickschnack, nur Metall.

Nidbild started as Elliott Berlin's solo thrash-metal project. You might recognize Elliott from Combichrist, and Telemark. When 2020's lockdowns hit, Nidbild decided to bulk up its ranks, recruiting members from established bands across Europe and Australia.
Now, Elliott takes center stage as Nidbild's frontman and guitarist. Danika Ruohonen, known for her work in the Australian death metal scene with In Death and Fang, handles the bass. Yannik Fleming, a rhythmic force from Hanzel und Gretyl (USA) and Dawn of Ashes (USA), is the man behind the drums.
Nidbild draws inspiration from the heavy realms of Gothenburg death and thrash metal. If you're into In Flames, Dark Tranquility, At the Gates, Insomnium, Be’Lakor, Amorphis, Hypocrisy, and Winter Sun, you're in for a ride. But here's the twist – the band members' diverse musical backgrounds also sprinkle in flavors of rock, industrial, Scandinavian metal, and the dark trinity of black, thrash, and death metal.

The metal saga began in June 2020 with Nidbild's cover of Sepultura’s "Refuse Resist." The grand finale came in February 2021 with the release of their first full-length album, "I Ondska vi Består." No frills, just metal.
