GREAT SILKIE (UK)
Great Silkie is the songwriting vehicle of Sam Davies, fungi-folk extraordinaire and former guitarist for Charlie Boyer & TheVoyeurs. The outfit formed in 2017 following a succession of stints Sam spent in London's neo-psych and garage scenes throughout the 2010's; accompanying the legendary Bob Lindlive, recording guitar on JC Flowers' cover of China Girl viaATP Recordings, a Bo Diddley covers band called The Diddlersfeaturing members of The Horrors and S.C.U.M/Blueprint Blue, alongside other Rhys Webb (The Horrors) collaborations Death Fuck Leather Party and Fast Cars.
The band released their first single 'Scared to be Alone' on Crocodile Records in 2017 and a second in 2019, 'I Dont Know How to Say I Love you These Days', both with music videos directed by Danny Nellis (Charles Howl). Later that year, the band took three weeks out to record the debut LP Dawn Chorusat Vacant Studios,with production from Euan Hinshelwood (Younghusband). This album was released by Crocodile Records in 2021.

MOON BALLOON (UK)
Moon Balloon is a Peckham-based indie rock band fronted by Rhys Timson with songs about love, loss & gentrification whilst finding solace in a city that no longer wants you. After forming SelOut records and releasing the 'Don't Turn Around' EP cassette last year, Moon Balloon is ready to pay the DistroKid toll once again. Their next release 'Larry's' was written after eating a delicious Aubergine Parmigiana sandwich from the Larry's cafe in Peckham. It's a song about finding joy with the ones you love most in an impossibly unaffordable city. It's a song about not allowing your anxiety to thwart your fun and helping your loved ones along the way.

After their critically acclaimed debut EP 'Country Songs' in 2018 produced on a 24 Track Otari Tape machine by Euan Hinshelwood (Cate Le Bon) they went on to release their second EP 'Don't Turn Around' Co-produced by Euan and Joe Futak (Tapir!). The band prepares to record their first full-length album in June ready to perform in July.
